  • Product Info

The BPA-free Aquamira Water Bottle and Filter provides a safe and effective way to enjoy clear, clean tasting water anywhere. The Aquamira Water Bottle is a high quality 22 fl oz. (650ml) sport bottle, featuring a protective flip-cap and sturdy Nalgene® construction.

    FILTRATION TECHNOLOGY

All Aquamira filter systems use the "torturous path" method of filtration, designed to provide greater effectiveness than common thin-walled fiber filters. The tiny intricate pathways in the filter trap 99.9% of harmful Cryptosporidium, Giardia, and other pathogens, including waterborne insect larvae and many bacteria such as E. Coli. The activated carbon reduces waterborne chemicals and improves water taste while Miraguard™ Antimicrobial technology suppresses the growth of bacteria, algae, fungus, mold and mildew within the filter media.

  • Instructions for Use

Directions: Fill bottle with water 1 1/2 inches from top. Insert filter and firmly tighten cap.

BEFORE USING:Remove harmless carbon dust by squeezing water from the bottle until flow is clear.
Storage and Cleaning: Bottle and cap are diswasher safe on the top shelf. Store filter in a cool dry place, do not freeze filter.
Note: If viruses or bacteria smaller than 2 microns are suspected, use in conjunction with Aquamira Water Treatment. (tablets or liquid)

*MIRAGUARD™ suppresses the growth of bacteria, algae, fungus, mold and mildew within the filter media.

    Boot Use Tip

TRUE OR FALSE? Heavy duty mountain boots are obsolete for backpacking. True. But while the ultralight backpacking crowd (carrying 20 lb. packs) get by on trails using trail running shoes or even good sport sandals, most folks carrying heavier loads should have some ankle support. Well-made light hikers with a 3/4 or full-height ankle collar are usually enough for moderate loads on most trails.
