REPAIRING FLOAT TUBES, PONTOONS & INFLATABLE KAYAKS:

NOTE: The I-Patch makes excellent repairs to pinhole leaks in inner air bladders but is not intended to repair seam failures or large damaged areas. Seam damage and large repairs should be referred to the boat’s manufacturer for repair. See diagram (fig 2) for correct application.

    1.    Deflate bladder and place area to be repaired on hard flat surface.

    2.    Wipe damaged area with Alcohol Wipe (fig 3).

    3.    Apply center first and then edges (fig 4). Press firmly to smooth patch.

    4.    Re-insert bladder into boat.

    ADDITIONAL USES:

I-Patch™ makes excellent repairs on most vinyl materials.

I-Patch instantly repairs holes or tears in bicycle inner tubes, inflatable kayaks (fig 5),  vinyl slickers (fig. 6),galoshes, vinyl pool toys and vinyl air mattresses (fig. 7).

For smaller repairs, cut the I-Patch with scissors before removing backing.

WARNING: The I-Patch is not intended for sealing air leaks on the exterior of inflatable boats that do not have separate inner air bladders. Those boats include: river rafts, kayaks, canoes, water-ski towables, tenders and other inflatables.

    Boot Sole Tip

TRUE OR FALSE? Campfires cause boot sole delaminations? True. Sitting at the campfire with your feet towards the fire may make you comfortably warm, but your boot soles could be close to melting. This can easily cause failure of the sole’s glue bond. If your boot soles are peeling, use Freesole® Urethane Adhesive for a permanent fix.
