Dry thoroughly. Open item and allow to air overnight before use or storage.

    Testimonials –

"The down cleaner is awesome! I had never even thought something could bring my sleeping bag back to life like this. I had two sleeping bags that were basically flat as pancakes after a cumulative total of about 500 nights of use and packing them up every day into a backpack. I thought they were shot and figured it might just be time to get new ones, but decided to first try the down cleaner. They came out like new!" Justin Lichter (Trauma)

"I tried the down cleaner on my down comforter. Not only did it clean the comforter (which had not been washed in much too long) but it revived the loft." - Denver

"The bottle did 3 down comforters months later they still smell fresh but not overpowering." - Michael G., Baja, CA

    Boot Use Tip

TRUE OR FALSE? Heavy duty mountain boots are obsolete for backpacking. True. But while the ultralight backpacking crowd (carrying 20 lb. packs) get by on trails using trail running shoes or even good sport sandals, most folks carrying heavier loads should have some ankle support. Well-made light hikers with a 3/4 or full-height ankle collar are usually enough for moderate loads on most trails.
