  • Tips & Testimonials

    TRUE OR FALSE?
Boat materials last forever, they don’t need any treatment.

False. Materials like Hypalon®, PVC, fiberglass, roto-molded plastic, and other materials are damaged, bleached and ultimately break down from sun exposure and use. UV Tech™ Surface Protector and Rejuvenator protects and rejuvenates surfaces, reducing cracking, helping to block sun damage and restoring your boat’s original good looks.

From a customer in New England... “UV Tech is fantastic! I used it on my black Necky kayak, which had turned white from exposure to the elements. The UV TECH brought the black color back to its original color.”

  • Reduce Fin Buoyancy

    Reduce Fin Buoyancy

A diver’s gear (wet suit, fins, B.C., tank, weights and regulator) can weigh anywhere from 40 to 70 pounds. The bulk of this weight is in the middle of your body – while over half of your buoyancy is below the waist. Reduce leg and fin buoyancy and alleviate back stress by wearing Durward Ankl Weights™.
  • Wetsuit Storage Tip

    Wetsuit Storage Tip

Standard clothes hangers cause extra strain to your suit’s shoulders, leading to stretching and cracking. Use a flexible, padded Flex Fashion™ Wet Suit Hanger instead. The Flex Fashion Wet Suit Hanger can be molded to accommodate any suit shape. Store your suit and all dive gear in a cool, dry closet away from direct heat or sunlight, to prevent premature aging. If you must store dive gear in the garage, use air and light tight containers to protect from exhaust fumes, temperature extremes and moisture. Leave your suit’s zipper open during storage to eliminate strain on the sealing elements.
