Tenacious Tape line-up

GORE-TEX PATCHES: These patches are made of authentic GORE-TEX material for all-weather protection to rain jackets, ski pants, gloves, gaiters, or waders. The strong tape with ultra-aggressive adhesive provides maximum hold to quickly patch holes or small tears at home or in the field. These patches come in two sizes (2.5" x 2.8" hexagon and 2.5" x 4" rectangle).

HEX PATCHES: Our signature hex shape. The unique design allows for technical repairs, able to be placed along seams and zippers without hand trimming. Backed by an ultra-aggressive adhesive, it won’t peel off when applied to technical fabrics including nylon and vinyl. The small 1.5” x 1.65” hex is perfect for baffles on down sweaters, sleeping bags, and backpacks while the large 2.5” x 2.8 hex fixes bigger repairs on tents, sleeping pads, and waders.

NYLON FABRIC: Available in Black, Coyote and OD Green colorways, the nylon fabric Tenacious Tape Repair Tape provides more flexibility to outerwear and glove repairs. Nylon comes in 3” x 20” strips. The Black nylon is also available in Mini Patches and a variety of fun shapes and sizes as Gear Patches.

CLEAR VINYL: Clear is a plastic tape with a non-gloss finish and is available in the following sizes: 3”x20” strip,  1.5”x 60” roll and Mini Patches.

RIPSTOP NYLON: Sage and Off-White are recycled “ripstop” nylon, which is reinforced to resist tearing/ripping and are designed to match tents and tarps. It is available in 3” x 20” strips.

REFLECTIVE: Reflective is a glass bead nylon reflective fabric. Reflective is available as a 3”x20” strip and as precut Patches. Use for high visibility situations.

SILNYLON PATCHES: Fix ripped silnylon tents and tarps with these peel-and-stick patches backed by silicone adhesive. Silnylon Patches are designed to adhere to silicone-treated nylon fabrics and offer a quick and durable solution to holes and tears on lightweight gear. The Silnylon kit includes two 3” x 5” sheer patches that permanently bond to any silicone-treated fabric.

MESH PATCHES: Quickly fix ripped bug screens with these Mesh Patches. The kit includes two 3" pre-cut patches that easily adhere to any mesh or no-see-um screens. Simply position the patch over the tear, peel and stick for fast, easy repairs. Great for camping and outdoor gear.

FLEX PATCHES: This is a stronger, more heavy-duty adhesive backing than Tenacious Tape. Available in 3” x 5” these clear patches are made of TPU (plastic) material. This tape stretches, flexes, fights UV yellowing/cracking, resists abrasions, and won’t puncture. They are ideal for use on stretchy fabric, inflatables, or items that get long-term sun exposure.

NEOPRENE PATCH: The Tenacious Tape Neoprene Patch is a heat-activated fabric patch that easily repairs rips, holes and tears on neoprene gear like waders, wetsuits, boots, and gloves. It includes a special lining that provides extra abrasion resistance and can be used to reinforce high-wear areas. Available as a 10" x 6" patch that you can cut into any size or shape you need to repair your gear.

Repair tape tips

Use Tenacious Tape for making quick, in-field repairs to rips and holes in gear and outerwear, and Tenacious Tape Flex Patches or Aquaseal adhesives for permanent repairs. You can also use Tenacious Tape and Aquaseal in conjunction with one another. For instance, if you spring a leak in your inflatable, you can apply Aquaseal FD over the hole and then place Tenacious Tape over the top.
